Greenacre Preschool runs with a dedicated, and very professional staff team. All the staff attend regular training courses, and most are trained to NVQ level 3.
During the morning and afternoon sessions, there are a minimum of 5 staff – usually 6 – and at lunchtime there are 4. This means that we work well in excess of the required Ofsted ratios. We also have students carrying out work placements with us from time to time, as well as inviting parents to help at any time.
All staff have an enhanced DBS disclosure, and all attend regular first aid training. The vetting procedures for the employment of new staff is rigorous, as is the implementation of the comprehensive Safeguarding policy.
